2026 - Fleming's "Coming Soon" in downtown Riverside (RXSQ)

Fleming’s Steakhouse coming to Riverside

‘Coming Soon’ signage is up, proclaiming that Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar will be opening later this year in downtown Riverside, joining the growing and varied downtown dining and cocktails scene.

To be located along Mission Inn Avenue at the intersection with Market Street — just across from the Fox Performing Arts Center — the upscale restaurant will take up a prime, ground-floor spot in The Mark, a mixed-use building completed in 2023. The restaurant will use approximately 8,700 square feet and include outdoor dining.

From the Fleming’s website:

Our restaurant will boast several curated dining spaces including our main dining room that accommodates 107 guests, luxurious bar dining, three private dining spaces for social events and private business dinners, and a large outdoor patio space that feels like a true oasis.

With a curated selection of Prime, Wagyu, and Signature steak cuts and an extensive wine collection sourced from esteemed producers around the world, we are the premier destination for elevated dining—where every experience feels intentional, every conversation flows a little easier, and every relationship is worth celebrating.

2026 – Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Fleming’s will join long-standing Mario’s Place and Duane’s Prime Steaks & Seafood (Mission Inn) — both just a block away — as contemporaries in the upper echelon of downtown dining. Another semi-recent addition is The State restaurant and bar located within the historic Riverside First National/Citizen’s National bank building at University and Main.

The first Fleming’s location opened in 1998 in Newport Beach, California. The Riverside location will join about 70 other Fleming’s, 13 of which are in California, including one in nearby Rancho Cucamonga. The chain is now part of Tampa, Florida-based Bloomin’ Brands, a grouping of 1,450 restaurants worldwide that also includes Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and Bonefish Grill.

According to Fleming’s website, opening of the Riverside restaurant is expected in Fall 2026, likely in time for the annual (and highly-popular) Festival of Lights.
